Who we are
BlickDesk provides phone-controlled digital menu boards for food venues. For data collected through this website, BlickDesk is the data controller.
Contact for privacy matters: see the legal notice.
What we collect
When you submit the demo booking form, we collect only what you enter:
- your name;
- the name of your venue;
- the number of screens (optional);
- how to reach you: a WhatsApp or Telegram handle, or an email address.
This site has no accounts, no payments and no tracking pixels.
Why we use it
Solely to answer your enquiry and to prepare the demo or mock-up you asked for. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries (art. 6(1)(f)). We do not use this data for advertising and we never sell it. There is no automated decision-making and no profiling.
How long we keep it
Up to 12 months after our last exchange, then it is deleted. If you become a customer, the data moves to our customer records and is kept as required by contract and law. You can request earlier deletion at any time.
Who sees it
Only our team and the service providers needed to host this site and to message you on the channel you chose (e.g. WhatsApp, Telegram or an email provider). These providers act as processors and receive nothing beyond what is needed to deliver the message.
Where your data goes
This site runs on Cloudflare Pages, so Cloudflare, Inc. serves it from the point of presence nearest you and your request can be handled outside the EU; Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Our mailbox is Gmail, so an email you write us is kept by Google in the United States under that same framework. Two more channels are yours to choose. WhatsApp carries your message through Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, which may process it in the United States; Meta is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Telegram carries it through Telegram FZ-LLC in the United Arab Emirates, a country the European Commission has not found to offer adequate protection, so we rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and on your choice of that channel. If you would rather nothing left the EU at all, call us: the phone is the only channel here that does not pass through a provider outside it.
Stored in your browser
The site stores a few interface values in your browser’s local storage: which theme you picked, whether the demo phone is open, where you dragged it, and whether you dismissed its hint. Nothing else is stored. There are no cookies, no analytics and no tracking pixels on this site, so there is no cookie banner to click. These values never leave your device.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your data, and you can object to any processing we base on our legitimate interest. Write to the address in our legal notice and we will respond within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority: in Belgium the Data Protection Authority (GBA/APD), in the Netherlands the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, in France the CNIL, in Spain the AEPD, in Germany the authority of your federal state, and elsewhere in the EU the authority for the place where you live or work.
